St John’s RC Primary School in Lancashire wanted to create a new space for active activities As well as a large running track a set of 3 Up & Over Bars, Monkey Bar s, Log Station and Solar Powered Stop Clock was installed. Class teacher Chris tells us more.

Why did you want to develop your playground?
We wanted to develop this area due to it constantly flooding. Also, it was split into two areas and we wanted one large, free space.

Biggest benefits so far have been increased participation in sports and games and competitiveness.
