Greenbank Estate Residents Group, Devon

Working with the Local Authority, Greenbank Estate Residents Group has developed a local playground for the whole community to enjoy. They tell us how it has helped boost community spirit and bring people of all ages together.
Why did you want to develop your playground?
We had the opportunity to work with the Local Authority to develop a community space where the local children could come together and enjoy sports. We wanted to create an area that would be accessible and inviting, as well as safe – one that would encourage children of all ages and abilities to play together with a community spirit.

What were the key elements that made Playforce stand out from other providers?
Playforce has extensive experience working with schools and community projects to create fun and motivational play spaces. They knew the ins and outs of working with Local Authorities too and helped us design the playground based on the time, budget and requirements we had. They helped make our space feel truly unique and worked alongside the LA and the community to ensure that we were meeting the needs and desires of everyone involved.
