Why did you want to develop your playground?
We wanted our outdoor space to reflect all areas of learning. The resources that we had were not age appropriate and were often second hand donations from the local pre school. Our flooring was unsafe and it was in desperate need of a revamp. We needed weather proof storage and structures as our old arrangement meant that it was taking a lot of time to set up and tidy away each day.
What were the key elements that made Playforce stand out from other providers?
The team were helpful and accommodating. They were interested in the opinions of the staff and what the children at Aldbury would like and worked to include them in the plans. We were able to communicate what the main aims were of developing the area and they suggested lots of alternative and ideas along the way. If something wasn’t quite regarding what we wanted or were thinking of, it was easy to work with them to plan different things. The plans were clear and colourful, it was great to have these to show the children, staff and parents.
