When we started out on 2018 a year of celebrating our 20th birthday stretched ahead of us. We can’t quite believe that it’s drawing to a close, as we start to think about Christmas performances and what 2019 might bring! Here’s a look back on some of the wonderful things we’ve celebrated this year.
Playforce teamed up with Game Changer Performance
Game Changer Performance and Playforce teamed up to deliver an exciting, brand new service for Primary Schools! Our Athletic Development Days are a fun way to measure pupils’ athletic abilities and introduce fun and engaging long term athletic development programmes (LTAD) to schools. Best of all… and there’s still time… To celebrate our 20th anniversary year, Playforce has been offering a free Athletic Development Day to any school that places an order with Playforce for an outdoor project during 2018! Introducing Playnetic Interactive Play
Another birthday announcement was our partnership with Playnetic Interactive Play. Playnetic is the perfect partner… in their own words they “develop fun, interactive, outdoor play equipment, to get children exercising again”. Sounds just like us! That’s why we partnered with them to launch a very special birthday range here in the UK, focusing on active, ICT-related play and learning. We’ve loved talking to people this year about their approaches to play and sport - including some fantastic athletes.
June was Nature Month
Throughout the whole of June, here at Playforce, we focused on the natural environment… and we called it Nature Month! We shared nature-focused case studies, everything from lesson plans to challenges and competitions, new product news about our creepy crawly range and more. We also worked with Together for Short Lives to select a children’s hospice in each of our regions, to give a ‘natural’ product gift to… more on that later this month.
More special offers and ideas than you can shake a playground at
Finally, we have had a whole year of special offers and discounts, to say “thank you” to our loyal customers, as well as lots of tips for how you can improve your outdoor space. An example of this was our 20 products for £20k campaign, where we showed you just what you could get with your money. We shared examples of schemes for Early Years, KS1, KS2 and an amazing active trail playground.
