We sent our design team to our partner schools to observe maths lessons and find out why you find it the most challenging subject to teach in an outdoor environment. After discovering the best ways of teaching mathematical concepts, we realised we could fuse together outdoor learning and play and came up with some great ways to take maths outside!
As well as promoting physical activity. It’s vital that both KS1 & KS2 pupils develop confidence and mental fluency with whole numbers, including knowledge on measurements such as weight, height, volume and money.
